Wine value - the best way to your own Mallorca wine
Imagine inviting guests to your finca in Mallorca and serving them home-grown wine. Unbelievable? Not at all! The company „WeinWert“ in Binissalem has been offering finca owners an unprecedented service for several years now: in order to make the many, mostly unused square metres of a finca profitable, managing director Henri Fink and his employees cultivate a vineyard there. „From a size of 1,000 square meters, you can get started“, says Fink. The cost of building the vineyard, which will have around 500 vines after a year, is 9,000 euros/net. Added to this are the management costs of 2,350 euros/net per year. Once the grapes are ripe in the third year, a further 650 euros/net is added for vinification. In the case of this entry-level size, the yield is around 600 bottles per year, which can also be commercialized by the company „WeinWert“ on request.
Each private winemaker is free to decide how much they want to do themselves. If you want to, you don't need to shake hands. We take care of everything," promises Fink. Starting with the soil analysis, preparing the soil, planting the vines and caring for them, right through to harvesting and filling the bottles.
And: If you want, you can use the surplus of your „house wine“ to recoup some of the investment costs. We offer various business models," explains Henri Fink. Both for pure investors who are looking for an ecological investment with manageable investment costs and for finca owners who are aiming for a return on their vineyard to cover costs in the long term.
