To ensure that doors, floor-to-ceiling windows or level exits (comfort thresholds) continue to function perfectly after renovation, only very thin-layer systems can be used. Our patio renovation system meets this requirement with a special liquid plastic and a layer thickness of just 4 to 10 millimetres.“
From scratch: The employees of ISOTEC specialist companies are trained in decking systems and tackle the problem at the root. Over several stages, the renovation leads to a top result. First, the top layer and the existing waterproofing are removed down to the load-bearing substructure. If necessary, a slurry screed is then created so that rainwater can also drain away easily. Next, the decking surface is professionally primed. When renovating decking, details such as door and wall joints require particular attention to ensure that everything remains functional after the renovation," emphasizes Mr. José Remesal Weinbrecht. These critical areas are seamlessly sealed with a certified liquid plastic or, if necessary, an ISOTEC®-Kombiflex waterproofing in the case of a larger construction height.
Aesthetically sophisticated surfaces: This system solution has also been designed with the visual appearance in mind. There are several alternatives for the top layer, the so-called protective and wear layer: a thin-layered quartz covering, a coating with colorchips or a structure using board or wood covering are possible here.
