Counter-current systems make it possible to swim long and enduring distances regardless of the size of the pool - you always move in the same place. And depending on the power of the system pump, competitive swimmers will also get their money's worth. From a technical point of view, a counter-current system is nothing more than an oversized inlet drain. All you see is the screen or mask, plus slits and nozzles through which water is drawn in by a powerful pump and returned to the pool.A counter-current system works like this: A pump connected to a suction and pressure line draws in pool water through a nozzle housing permanently installed in the pool and returns it to the pool with a powerful jet via one or more adjustable nozzles. A large number of openings around the nozzle housing ensure a low and therefore harmless suction flow. Counter-current systems are not only available as built-in parts, but also for mounting. These are attached to the surround and protrude into the pool.
