Modern room ventilation systems: Do you still ventilate or do you ventilate?

Moderner Raumlüftsysteme sorgen für optimales Klima und gesunde Luft in den eigenen vier Wänden
Modern room ventilation systems ensure an optimum climate and healthy air within your own four walls

Every property creates its own microclimate with drastic effects on the oxygen content, humidity and temperature of the air. Modern room ventilation systems ensure that an optimum climate is created in your own four walls.

It's hard to believe, but Europeans spend almost two thirds of their lives indoors. Yet far too little attention is paid to their air quality. Depending on the construction method, number and habitat of the occupants, a property creates its own microclimate with sometimes drastic effects on oxygen content, humidity and temperature. Dust, cigarette smoke, bacteria or odors, for example, have a decisive impact on the quality of the air. And: more than 130 years ago, the German researcher Max Pettenkofer recognized the carbon dioxide content of the air as a measure of the quality of indoor air. The CO2 content of the air is therefore of great importance for human well-being. After all, each person breathes in and out around 24 kilograms or the equivalent of 20,000 liters of air.

The ventilation of rooms alone, i.e. the constant exchange of used air with „fresh“ air, enables an optimal and healthy microclimate in your own four walls that also protects against moisture and mold growth. However, according to experts, proper ventilation is a real full-time job. The ideal solution would be to completely change the air in the room every two hours. In the morning after getting up, it is important that the room is well ventilated, as people lose a lot of moisture during the night. At lunchtime and in the evening, the room should also be ventilated to reduce the carbon dioxide content of the air. And for a good and healthy night's sleep, it is also advisable to ventilate just before going to bed.

In other words: For a perfect indoor climate, it's best to stand by the window all day long. But there is another way. The company „KKPeters“, which has been established on Mallorca for many years, has recently started offering the fully automatic room ventilation system „Helios“ for residential and commercial properties on the island. he „Helios“ brand is a modern residential ventilation system with heat recovery that can be easily installed in both new and existing buildings. The highlight: a special heat exchanger continuously extracts the heat from the stale room air and transfers it to the fresh outdoor air, which creates a healthy, comfortable climate as preheated and filtered supply air.

Reduction of heating costs through heat recovery

Heating costs are reduced by up to a third thanks to heat recovery. The constant removal of moisture also prevents mold growth. Thanks to a humidity fan, the Helios fans run completely independently and do not need to be switched on or off manually.

The fan switches on automatically by default as soon as the selected humidity value in the home is exceeded. There is also no need for regular emptying as with conventional dehumidification systems or mobile devices.

No more musty smells in the house

Without permanent ventilation, many houses and apartments smell damp and musty - especially after long periods of absence. Here too, the Helios room ventilation system provides a remedy. Thanks to the built-in humidity sensors, the system works completely independently. If the preset humidity value in the home is exceeded, the fans start automatically and run until the optimum humidity level is reached again. Monitoring or switching on/off is no longer necessary.

In addition, a Co2 sensor can be optionally installed, which works on the same principle as the humidity sensor and controls the device completely autonomously as soon as the Co2 content in the room air is too high.

And: The system can be easily installed in all types of buildings - new builds, existing properties, commercial properties.
