Your Mallorca terrace - outdoor living room and oasis of well-being

There's no doubt about it: Mallorca is a unique fresh air pleasure park, and not just in midsummer. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and average daily temperatures that you would hardly dream of between Flensburg and Freiburg, the Spanish Mediterranean island is the place to be for property owners to spend time outdoors from January to December. In other words: open the door - and head out onto the terrace, balcony or patio garden to enjoy the Mediterranean open-air living to the full!
This seemingly limitless outdoor idyll on Mallorca has its drawbacks, however. The outdoor thermometer reading between Palma and Pollensa often climbs to sauna-like Celsius degrees in midsummer, the humidity sometimes fluctuates between drizzlingly humid and ice-cold all year round, and it always starts raining out of the blue. Or the wind blows, sometimes strong, sometimes weak.

Depending on requirements, structural specifications and, of course, the budget, there are various options to choose from.
Mallorca classics with a new look: The awning

When it does rain...
In contrast to folding arm awnings, textile patio covers stand on their own posts. The textile awnings can be retracted and extended in a similar way to a convertible. They are particularly suitable as sun protection for larger patio areas and, depending on the fabric, can also provide protection from showers. Rain drainage is provided by a post or can be controlled using telescopic posts.
Against sun, wind and rain: The bioclimatic pergola „So-called bioclimatic pergolas“ are brand new in our range, says Holger Fischer from „f&b“. Depending on the weather and temperature, the slats of the pergola roof open and close. If the solar radiation is high, for example, the slats are opened to prevent a greenhouse effect. In bad weather, rain, cold and wind, on the other hand, the slats close again so that it remains comfortable under the roof.
With the help of additional vertical awnings or () glazing, these high-tech pergolas can be used to create weather-independent, habitable outdoor areas.
A conservatory in Mallorca: the chic glass oasis
For many years, "f&b" has also been offering glass oases from the German premium manufacturer Weinor. () Glass oases extend the living space and prolong the outdoor season considerably. This is because the patio can often be used very well from before the start of spring until late in the fall. Even on sunny winter days, cold winter gardens store enough heat to make your stay pleasant. What's more, thanks to flexible, frameless sliding glass doors, the conservatory can be transformed from a closed glass house into an open garden area in no time at all. With the help of the matching infrared heater from Weinor, you can also create a cozy atmosphere on cooler days and evenings.
